I'm opposite of you bro. I try to use all the latest gadgets.
Except music.....still listening to AM sports radio. Well, I do stream music online sometimes.

Digital recording? Nope, Analog, using mics and room ambience, playing in time and singing on pitch.....hmmm imagine that these days....LMAO
Nope. I'm not with you on this.So approaching my 40s, I wonder if anyone else is in this same boat as me..
I do not own an Iphone or a Smart Phone. I have a flip phone. I can call people on it. They can call me back. Cool idea for a phone, eh?
I do not have TIVO. Wouldn't even know how to work it.
I do not have digital cable (I barely watch basic cable.. cept on Walking Dead night!).
I prefer listening to cds in the car, rather than scanning an ipod (although I do use an Ipod at the gym... running with a disc man or walk man is even too much for me!).
I prefer books to ebooks. Nothing like having a physical BOOK in your hand. I love the smell of the pages (esp if the book is old..haha). I love hearing and feeling the page turn. Plus, its easier on the eyes. IMO.
I am totally not judging any tech fans out there, but just wondering is anyone still old school like me?! It would also be interesting to know if any of you younger folks in your 20s prefer the "archaic" way of life.
I am 40...let's see how this goes...So approaching my 40s, I wonder if anyone else is in this same boat as me..
I don't like the phone, but I like being accessible if I am needed. I am not so deluded to think I am that important tho, and especially not because I have a "kewl" phone...it's not the pinnacle of human technology like some make it out to be...that said, I have an android. basic, stripper no frills, can check my emails, stream a vid, text the wife and kids, and make phone calls, even tho I hate the phone...so much so I gave up landline waay back.I do not own an Iphone or a Smart Phone. I have a flip phone. I can call people on it. They can call me back. Cool idea for a phone, eh?
I have Netflix and Hulu, almost as good. I am not a slave to programming tho, I don't like t.v. all that much. I watch it passively and get riled by the bad advertising, but that's about it...I do not have TIVO. Wouldn't even know how to work it.
I have basic cable but rarely watch it (see above)I do not have digital cable (I barely watch basic cable.. cept on Walking Dead night!).
Ah, another use for my phone, it plays music. My current vehicle doesn't even have a stereo (my car is crap and my commute 2.5 minutes), but if it did, it'd be my phone plugged in, my iPod plugged in, or thumbdrives, like when I take the Wife's car.I prefer listening to cds in the car, rather than scanning an ipod (although I do use an Ipod at the gym... running with a disc man or walk man is even too much for me!).
I love books for the same reason, and rarely read more than one at a time, but the convenience of my Kindle is awesome. But, i honestly could not tell you where it even IS right now. I just looked. Hmm.I prefer books to ebooks. Nothing like having a physical BOOK in your hand. I love the smell of the pages (esp if the book is old..haha). I love hearing and feeling the page turn. Plus, its easier on the eyes. IMO.

I'd say that's pretty cool.I do not own an Iphone or a Smart Phone. I have a flip phone. I can call people on it. They can call me back. Cool idea for a phone, eh?
