Aside from the classics - Carlin, Pryor, Cosby, Steve Martin (in the old days)

LOVE the Stooges (except Curly Joe - sorry, Curly Joe...)

LOVE the Marx Bros.

Jeff Dunham (freakishly amazing at what he does!)

I don't know much about her stand-up, but Paula Poundstone on NPR's "Wait, wait... Don't Tell me..." NEVER fails to crack me up! It amazes me how sharp and deadly accurate she is with her wit on that show! The other comedians are great on that show as well, but Paula stands out in my opinion.

By "you guys" do you mean all of England?

Nah, I mean his "ignorance" is what makes a lot of the stuff funny. I have spoken with Chemda a few times and Keith a couple of times in the early days on chat. He is quite polite and "not ignorant" when not in show host mode.

You guys as in the British listeners. I thought the "I'm wearing a skirt am I funny now" thing was funny. Do you ever go watch the live shows?

i saw paula last friday. her stand up is amazing. so much of it is brand new. she was talking about stuff that happened the night before and earlier that day. and her interactions with the crowd are great.
