Ive surfed all over the internet.......cant find anybody that makes them. Thinking about an 8 String bridge/tailpiece conversion...Does anybody know where to get a 12 String bass bridge/tailpiece or an alternate solution? Thank You in advance

thank you very much!
quick question: That's guitar strings sharing a tailpiece hole in the "G" octave courses, correct? Can you tell me what the (microscope) differences are in using those instead of the .18s-.20s bass strings usually found in a multi-course set? (besides the ball size)
Zero difference except for length and price (around $3 for a dozen 18s or 20s). I use standard 4 string (5 for 10ers) sets for fundamentals and bulk strings for the octaves. Then I also have more control over gauges. Those hi G strings, whatever the diameter, tend to break. Gets expensive unless you think outside the box. I've also experimented with bulk piano wire for hi Gs, it's really easy to attach any ball end you want.
My tailpiece string anchor holes are .125. Then I can use any string that's the right length without worrying about the 'correct' ball end.
Here's my 10 string bridge and tail solution.
