Mine haven't changed much in the past few years:
- The Duck. (For you yout's out there, Donald "Duck" Dunn). First in my heart and an example of a true great.
- Tommy Shannon. His work with SRV defined what blues bass needs to be.
- Jerry Scheff. His work with Elvis and on the Doors' LA Woman are just part of his resume as a guy who set a standard for rock bass.

Hadrien Feraud, Steve Bailey, and Rufus Philpot! I know they aren't "traditional" bass players, but I like this new school of jazz and they have a lot of jems. Rufus also does free lessons on YouTube that are very deep in regards to theory which helps me out alot
