My P is 46 years old, but I've already been beaten in this thread already by a '55 and I'm pretty sure there are some '51s here on TB. However, if you mean bass instrument generally and not just electric, then the Double Bass section is going to run riot as I'm sure there will be some that are hundreds of years old. Any way for your perusal, my often posted '63

Boy it's tough around here when a 66 Jazz can't even come close.
But it is one of the oldest left handed ones on this forum. There was a 60 left handed jazz for sale on the bay, but it ain't in this group.
