I know this all too well. Even my wife has come to refer to that room as "the library".

I've done some research, and I found out that the word garage comes from an ancient word meaning "man's room". The term garage door can be loosely trasnlated to "woman stay out of man's room".

There are plenty of times I enjoy the company of my wife, but there are also times I enjoy being totally alone. Those times don't happen very often, so they're like gold.
