Whos yout favorite vocalist?

Stevie Wonder

I've still to hear one as talented vocalist that can express feelings of all kinds as well as he does. He sounds always very honest, and his able to express also happiness in his vocals without sounding even remotely silly (e.g. Isn't She Lovely) lifts him up on the first place on the podium. I haven't heard many vocalists that can do that as well as he does it. He's an incredibly talented composer, lyricist and instrumentalist as well.

David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Blixa Bargeld, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Stephin Merritt, Peter Steele, Frank Sinatra, Otis Redding, Dave Vanian, Jean Jacques Burnell, Frank Black, Peter Murphy, Biggie Smalls, Snoop Dogg, ODB... there are lots that I like for different reasons.

I always thought Paul Rodgers had a great rock and roll voice, especially back in the 'Free' days. I think it was his voice that made Bad Company stand out from the crowd, and I understand that he is now providing vocals for the reconstituted "Queen".
