Wow. That's so interesting. From my perspective the tuner pedal seems like a bigger pain. I guess we all have different perspectives.Phone sounds like a pain in the ass.
Leaving a clip-on tuner on your headstock looks tacky. Unless you're in a Country Western band.
‘Cause one looks pretty silly putting a stop to the action and asking the crowd in the club to quiet down soz they can yank their phone from their hip pocket and toone up.Like honestly, $75 for a tuner? I've got a free app on my phone that works 90% of the time. I get it works as a killswitch and all, but why $75?
One day in a gig a bass player became very angry then he began to shout after a kid, the kid was laughing and laughing like an idiot, the bassist became furious and began to beat him.YMMV, but I notice the lack of response in the cheaper tuners, especially the cheaper pedal ones.
No !!!Am I the only one who has a bass that stays perfectly in tune after hours of intense playing and HARD plucking??

And you can bet those free tuners are the best there are. Given a choice between free crap and costly quality I'm a fan of quality. It's the quality, not the cost that matters to me.You can get headstock tuners free with pedal sometimes on eBay or amazon.
That isn't expensive.Like honestly, $75 for a tuner? I've got a free app on my phone that works 90% of the time. I get it works as a killswitch and all, but why $75?
