Why aren't small tube combos being made?

Frankly, I'm closer to deleting my profile than updating it based on the attitudes of some here.
The price people are willing to pay for vintage gear has no bearing on its usefullnes. As modern stage gear. He'll, people are spending thousands for late 70s jazzes, which were widely considered as garbage as little as 10 years ago.
You will be missed. 
You asked a question, you got answers. Manufacturers don't make tube combos because they don't sell, for all the reasons stated above. They tend to be heavy, cumbersome, expensive and underpowered. Their use is limited to studio, bedroom, and stage with significant pa support. They just don't work for the typical gigging musician. If you feel compelled to quit because you don't like the answer, well......

Yes, I've added one to my projects pile as well. Currently looking at using one of these as a back-end. Should give 100W before it gets unpleasantly dirty. Somewhat backlogged on projects so might be a while before I get around to it...
Don't sweat it too much. I have an old Traynor Bass Mate combo (two EL-84's into a sealed 15"). I'd like to see if I can replace the baffle and put two Jensen Mod 10/50's in there.
I've done semi-acoustic gigs with it and it's been fine. I played percussion in a seven piece band where the bassist was using a Bass Mate with a Stingray 5. I could hear him just fine.
I won't offer a conjecture why that is. I will say that I use both solid state amps and tube amps. Most of the time I gig with the solid state rig because it's more convenient. I wouldn't be comfortable bringing the Bass Mate to an electric gig. My (~90 watt?) Traynor Mark II into a sealed 4x10 with Jensen Mod 10/50's has been used live a fair number of times and has been enough power.
I'd like to try the Mod 10's in the Bass Mate because I'd like to focus the tone more into the mids. It got a bit indistinct in a boomy room.
Unfortunately, guitarists love the Bass Mate. Otherwise I'd recommend the OP look for a Bass Mate. They seem to fit the bill.
I like the amp for:
1) Home practice.
2) Acoustic gigs.
3) Recording.
Three good reasons for there to be a product like this.

yeah ive heard good things about them, seems like alot of cash for a hybrid combo though
Can we make a list of the few that are available? New and Vintage? I have a BA115HP that has great tone and plenty of volume for the gigs we do, but here at college, I want something that is small that I can practice on/low volume jam with a couple people (my solid state behringer bx108 just broke, that only had 15 SS watts anyways).
Glancing over this thread, I've seen a 30W Ashdown Head. As you look around the interweb in the future and find them, just make a list and post it here. Thanks! Also, small guitar tube combos that work well for bass could be included (but specify please!).
