This is all true as I am well aware there is no such thing as guitar lollipop tuners. I was merely pointing out discrepancies I assess before purchasing anything from anybody on eBay. Lighten up Francis...

Good call. I don’t think there’s any better deal to find on a set of lollipops right now. I looked up those other brands on Amazon someone mentioned and they were all cloverleaf style. When i saw earlier last night the Stratosphere set still hadn’t sold yet I almost bought them myself! They look like nickel as opposed to chrome, btw. Here’s some nickel bushings :
If you don’t want to be thought a jerk, dispense with snarky patronizing parting shots (take a deep breath?) and names (Francis?). There was no diss intended. I was providing information for the OP to reassure them the eBay sale was worth taking a chance. I’m sorry you took it as an attack on you. It wasn’t meant to belittle your knowledge of obscure bass tuners or eBay parts re-sellers, but in retrospect I see how you could have thought it was. I probably made my tone a little stronger and more urgent out of a sense that the OP would lose the chance to buy those tuners if they slept on them too long.

You can always create your own. I did these about ten years ago, they were pretty shabby and probably not even from the one bass, thus very cheap. Two had bent shafts and that only takes a minute or so to gently tap back into straight with a hammer. Then took about half an hour per tuner with a medium file and a range of wet n dry to smooth everything out. They're not chrome, but hey, no-one's reproducing these awesome shapes in the vintage backplate hole pattern with this logo on em. I have seen some on some CS builds but they're not 100% accurate either, with big square blocks for the shafts to sit in a la Hipshot I think, plus as per the link I missed above, those AVII 66 lollipops have that ugly step in the paddle where they sit in the shaft. This obviously isn't a help for the OP's problem, but I saw your fabulous Jazz and felt your pain.I really wish Fender custom shop would sell these relic versions for those of us with original 66's with broken or missing tuners.
My 66...seller sold the tuners separately and buyer won't sell them back to me. (Currently has 79-81 clover tuners)
