Why CA should be removed from the earth.

ive done plenty of both and in order to get that toyota right I'd have to rebuild it entirely. A good project light truck starts with dana 44s front and rear and 6 inches of suspension lift. I'd just as soon that rotten b22(i think) be in a junkyard and the mounts gone so i can srop the 350 sbc, T350, np205 combo sitting in my garage into it. the bags I might keep though.

I like your post better than reading about lowered, bags, slammed etc.

I understand Dana 44, NP205 and lift kits.

Finally someone that speaks my language.

Although the original project in this thread doesn't interest me, I am DELIGHTED that the hot rod tradition still lives on in the US. Some days it seems like all that anyone wants to do is add stripes, a K&N and a loud muffler and they think they're hot s***.

I salute anyone who's willing to put in the work like the guy who started that project...even if the project itself turns me off.

I'm glad these people have such money to throw away. Remember, they are probably also the same folks with no health insurance that put a tighter stranglehold on our nation's health care system every time they visit the ER for a rash.

That's why I going to buy a vehicle I don't have to modify when I end this deployment. The only money I'll be spending on it is gas, oil changes, and tires. Both vehicles, actually.

Peace,
Greg

That reminds me - we were at Walmart a few months back - just pulled in, and heard this terribly loud scraping sound from down the lot getting closer.

There were these couple guys that lowered just the back end of a Ford Ranger so low the bumper was dragging across the pavement, and shooting sparks all over. :rollno:

Everytime it hit a high spot ... S C R R A A A P P E !

It looked so stupid, and a bunch of people were just laughing. :D

We saw the same guys, and same truck in the same lot 3 weeks later ..... without the rear bumper ..... wonder what happened? :smug:

I guess you had to be there - they thought they were sooooo cool! People were just busting it was so funny!

MIke,
Glad we are from the same planet and I wouldguess to you the concept of lowering a pickup tothe point that the framereails are showering people with sparks as it drives by is atrifle ridiculous. BTW, I have long agreed with your sig. THere are a number of dorks in stock mustang GTs around here who are still learning, but I am a patient teacher :D

I think this could be my brother. :bassist:

Being a chevy guy (i am guessing), I think you'd like my road going instructional tool. It don't run anywhere near 10 and a halfs, but she is a rare bowtie beauty with a respectable 417 ft/lbs. Supposedly can run mid-high 13s wth the right tires( I'd never race her). You oughta see the look in the eyes of the yellow mustang drivers around here. MY vanity plate on order is LOL HEMI

Wow, assume much?

Is it the truck in your avatar?

Meh, while there there are a lot of reasons while unce unce fail trucks suck, this particular truck being the reason why California should be removed from the earth, just leads me to believe that you're just looking for an excuse to say that you hate California. Well, being from California, I can assure you that all the people within the geographical region known as California unanimously look upon you with all the apathy and disregard held within absolutely no effort whatsoever. Meanwhile here's a picture for you.
