Why did you decide to play bass?

they wouldnt let me switch during highschool from trombone to bass darn school with 1 bass and 5 bassist the compromise was bass trombone not the same

Played violin for years.

Growing up I heard My Generation, and was hooked on bass. I figured, 4 strings, 4ths instead of 5ths, how hard could it be?

I chose other because for several of those reasons: 1) liked basslines etc, 2) I was inspired by the early footage of John Paul Jones in early zeppelin when i was 14-15, 3) didn't want to play guitar like everyone else
