Kind of like that other thread about people's opions? That won't help.
The problem is ambiguous wording. I think it means "... only have space for guitar straps and not bass straps, which tend to be bigger?".

Doesn't the case building industry understand how much crap some if us bassists like to bring!
You stop that sense making. Stop it now.Isn't that where backpack makers step in? All you need in a case is a safe solid protection for the bass, any extra is just that......
Depends how you're folding your strap.A nice 3 - 5" wide leather strap with padding cannot fit in the narrow spaces for a thin 2" strap, which is all have found inside cases, no?
And lets be honest, that last one is really a pint of groove feulUse a good gig bag and you can fit your strap. cable and a micro amp.
Along with a pint of whiskey.

gubbins? is that like stuff? im a typical yank, i dont know gubbinsMy buzzard case has no space for a strap..... Just routed foam for the bass....... Like a gun case.
I have a pedal bag for spare batteries, jacks, my strap (wide neoprene one) and the usual bass gubbins.
