Well.. Í used to listen to Korn A LOT a few years ago, just a coupple of months after I got my first (and only) bass guitar. I had been interested about playing bass for a long time but never felt influenced by a specific bass player, until I listened to Korn. Sincerely I found out that Fieldy wasn´t the big deal pretty soon, but after three years I still think that Fieldy´s bass playing style deserves recognition. No bass player had sounded like him before.. (the combination of percussive -muted note- rythims, mid range-less equalization, unusual synth effects, and -****ty- chromatic scales he managed along with his not less authentic and innovative partners, was awesome when they appeared on the scene.. and deserves respect..)
