Why do you drive the vehicle you do?

It's paid for, gets 28 MPG, still runs like new, and does all I need a vehicle to do.
Plus, my full coverage insurance is only $700 per year. Hard to beat that.

2006 Dodge Dakota. Needed a truck for work, abiet not necessarily one that nice. Opted for it because I was co-habitating at the time with a european girl whose driving skills were let's say rather shaky. I wasn't going anywhere with her driving so I was the de facto chauffer anytime we went anywhere together. The relationship didn't last but the job and the truck have. It's pretty fun to drive. Outside of the gas cost for the V8, I really enjoy it.

I drive a 2002 Honda Civic that I bought several months ago. I looked at a few cars and decided it was time to buy one. I looked at a bunch of Mazdas and they were all rusted. Looked at some Nissans, but most of them were in rough shape. I found one that was in great shape, but owned by a shyster so I continued looking for a Civic. They're reliable as hell and I have a cousin who is a mechanic and specializes in Hondas. My cousin had one with well over 600,000 kilometers. I think she sold it (or gave it away) and someone put a new motor in it.

So, when I came across a 2002 Civic with less than 118,000 km for five grand, I jumped on it. I've put some work into it and fixed a few problems. It shines up nicer than most cars on the road around here. I give it lots of love. I am a clean freak. I give it the clay bar, wax, lots of glass cleaner, etc.

Right now it has just over 120,000 kms and I still love it.

I can't decide which to buy, a 2013 Subaru Forester 2.5x AWD for $20k or a 2012 Toyota RAV4 4x4 for $22k. But I'm getting one of those becuz the dealers gave me some great offers.

2013 ford explorer. Despite some bad reviews, balanced by some good ones. Its just the vehicle that fits my needs the best, and fits a whole lot of gear. Plus it's gorgeous...

2005 Toyota Tundra-- dependable, strong, looks nice.
Traded a dodge ram 1500 for it.
I do landscaping and lawn maint. needed a truck , right price, and all of the above.
Happy with it.

2008 black Chevrolet Impala LT, bought used. I drive about 90 miles round trip daily and this is the loaded edition with leather, moon roof, heated seats, etc.. Very comfortable, quiet, smooth, gets 29MPG and has plenty of power from the 3.5L 6cyl. if I need it. Has plenty of room to haul my gear including the DB.

I drive my 1999 Panda for a few reasons:
-It was a cheap car to buy
-It's insanely cheap to drive (cheap insurance, does about 47 mpg, easily)
-It's amazing how much stuff you can cramp into that tiny car
-I don't have the money to get another car yet. It's a great car, but not very comfortable, especially on long distances. And I want powered steering, cruise control, air conditioning and some other stuff that this car doesn't have.

I said goodbye to this car about a week ago, for the reasons mentioned above So now I got this:

A 2002 Golf Variant 1.6. I wanted a good, reliable car that was comfortable enough to take me to Germant without any back problems

I have a Fiat Palio 2010 (small, 1liter engine) and a 125cc Honda cub.

Got the Fiat because it was the best thing I could afford 3 years ago and I plan to get something nicer this year.

I ride the bike to work every day, just can't stand getting stuck in traffic and the parking lot for cars at my work is always full. I'll get a nicer bike this year, too.
