Yes, it is the same material that Greg Curbow used for his necks and fingerboard. We use it for fretless fingerboards and nuts on request.

I've not heard of this anywhere else, is there a thread or news article confirming this, or do you have some insider knowledge you'd care to spill?
Insider information - i was also told that pickguards will be mint istead of white and there will be a couple of new colors.
I would say they can re-examine their priorities after summary public execution.Bone is overrated. It's harder to work with, synthetic materials are just as good if not better, and there's just no need for it.
BTW, anyone who asks for an ivory nut in a world where the elephant population has been reduced by a third really needs to re-examine his priorities.
