you could argue that it's only cosmetic (and i disagree, there's a slight tonal difference in the attack, like i said earlier) but any other equally annoying "cosmetic" flaw like a finish blem or an unevenly-spaced tuning key would not cut it on a bass in this price range; why does this get a pass?
(edit: this is a skyline import version, correct? i'd hope the "real" ones don't get this detail wrong.)
