Why God made dogs

I always find it amusing how owners let dogs lick their faces In full knowledge that they have either just been licking their balls or sniffing another dogs butt!

Not to mention the possibility of worm cysts in their saliva. Even if you treat your dog for worms there is still the chance there will be worm eggs in their spit, and if you get them in your mouth hand down your gullet...

And I doubt you treat yourself for worms as a matter of course.

Indeed, yikes.

I sometimes kiss cats on the head when I'm drunk and I regret that in the morning. God knows where they have been to, they catch rats for crying out loud. Eeeeeeeeeeewwwww rats in my mouth. :D

I need a slice of cheese to get the taste out. Oh look, there's one on my forehead.:woot:

They say our attempts at making our world more sterile are weakening our immune systems. I figure the dog goes around and picks up a little bit of everything but human pathogens, then brings some back to provoke my immune system. That's it - I'll get my next little buddy before cold season!

I like Jack Russel Terriers. Spunky, smallish dogs that fetch things.

Also Labrador Retrievers are nice, gotta train them or they are sorta air headed.

On one of our visits to the vet, my dog took a squat before we went in. Soon as he was done he whipped around and ate some. I pulled him away and cleaned up the rest. We get inside and the receptionist, who liked my dog, comes running from around the counter to say hello to us. She let the dog lick her face. I told her what he had just done ... she said so what and laughed. There is now way I would have licked her face after that ... even if she let me :***:
