For some reason, this axe just seems to evoke the spirit of the bass for me more than any other model I've ever played. As they say, Leo got it right the second time!

The Jazz is the second best bass Leo ever made.

There where two P basses so technically the Jazz is the third time and after that was Musicman(even that is not true because there was the Coronado and a weird % string thing) so G&L would be like 4.
As far as the Jazz goes the neck is great but too few frets, the pups sound great but the body is too big. IMHO
