why is this sooo cheap?

I've heard that the innards of the Behringer stuff come from China.

Cheap and not made to last.

But I'm sure it sounds fine and, if you take care of it and don't drop it and don't turn it up too much and don't store it anywhere too hot or cold and don't sneeze near it, it should last you a while.

Maybe.

Good luck.

With my experience i haveto say: DONT BUY THAT CRAP!

My head had some malfunction and everytime my band started playing (Metal \m/ ) the sound from both guitar and drums somehow got into the circuitry of the head and the output limiter shut down the head... all within 20 seconds after starting to play. And it made my EBS 1x15 cab sound like crap, i brought the 1x15 in for a checkup 2 times because it sounded like the cone was busted beyond belief...

Thats my point of view...

I use the BX3000t head and its pretty good soundwise. Especially for the money. Nice punchy sound and a lot of tone shaping capability, although it can sound hissy if you boost the treble. The ultrabass feature is useless as it doesnt track the note properly.

I also used the 2x10" BA210 speaker cab, and after 2 band practices and approximatly 10 hours total use the speaker cones split and separated from the edge of the speaker. They sounded good while they lasted and at bedroom levels I think they would have lasted a while, but they cant take much abuse. I would say 10 hours is a pretty poor show!

Buying cheap gear is false economy. I learnt this the hard way!
