In light of all we've discovered here today, I'm changing my vote to "any".
Don't try and talk me out of it.

I can't think of "any" reason not to get an Ibanez, or "any" reason to talk you out of changing your answer. In light of all we've discovered here today, I'm changing my vote to "any".

Not trying to pry to hard or sound too argumentative, but where did you get those numbers? Mostly just asking because I'm looking at a chart without context. Are they sales numbers or results from a TB poll? Here's the chart I made if you're interested. Not scientifically valid, but good enough for a ballpark:

I love everything about that bass. Those Destroyers actually have really nice necks. I have one on an 80s parts bass

BTW, if we're both thinking the same thing most of the time, that just means we're both nucking futs!![]()
I've got to say, your conduct is silly in this thread. As a guy that's played and owned both fenders and ibanezes, they're both fine instruments. I guess this just makes me one of "them."Argumentum ad populum.
In my experience most musos are sheep.

That's some creative thinking right there. The data isn't a hard census, but you also admit that.Used basses for sale on Reverb about a week ago. Selected by brand and decade. I didn't look at every item and there could be a mis-categorized item in there, but it's equally likely in any column / row. So, there are 80 used EBMM basses for sale built in the 2000's.

hey, you could add that to your signature!![]()
None of the 20+ I have owned ever needed adjustment.
That's funny. I never see any innovation in Fender beyond a new colour or a ... well nothing. Anytime that they try something new the FSO fanbois reject it and it's culled quickly. In terms of construction, nothing at FMIC has changed in decades, and I get why, they sell. Ibanez at least took a punt with the EHBs, and though not made in large quantities are hard to get a hold of, same with the similar guitars.but sadly because the market is flooded with SR models we wont see much innovation, the talman has no high end model any more there are no new ATK so we are stuck with the endless model numbers of gibberish starting with SDG PMSL
