why should i not buy this today?

Buy the Trace Elliot rig mentioned before. You'll never look back. Plenty of volume out of the TE 300 watts. The 1x15 cabinet alone will sell for $350 on Talkbass...the combo is a good combo with tons of tone options.

/Thread and buy the Trace Elliot!

In your last post, Out of those three, the Hartke is the best IMHO.
The Peavey head is "600w MAX" (not that REALLY matters here.... but we wont get into that) and the Acoustic is likely hit or miss.... (not an Acoustic bash, but for that model, Acoustic was rather... inconsistent by that time, and only had a few years left)
So, I say Hartke Or Peavey.

The B2R and B5R are in all respects more or less the same thing.
Some small "aesthetic" changes, maybe a pre amp tweak or there, and the power amp somehow "jumps up in power". :scowl:
They are overrated in the power department. Period. :rollno:

However, that is just my opinion, and not the purpose of this thread.
This is not An Ampeg Bash. :spit:

The Trace Elliot rig is a great deal, imo. Nice find.

And at the same price as the B5R and 410???? No contest and problem solved! But you better hurry, because I suspect that Trace Elliot rig won't be around long. IMHO, you will be blown away the first time you plug that baby in at rehearsal, and so will your band mates.
