Well since The Who happens to be my all time favorite band... my reasoning for why I love The Who is either unexplainable or endless and I can't figure out which one it is.

why we love the who

Saw them twice. Once in Stutttgart, Germany in a century year old wooden hall February 1976. Was the best show I have ever seen. It was the Who By Numbers Tour. They were the only ones on the bill. German fans were very rowdy and pissed PT off that they almost cancelled the rest of the show if they didn't stop throwing beer bottles at the band. Couldn't believe what I was witnessing. Thank God they stopped and the show continued without a hiccup.
They covered everything that i wanted to hear. Was especially delighted to hear Entwistle, do his songs Boris the Spider, and My Wife. But what made me cream my jeans was him doing My Size from Smash Your Head Against the Wall.
I saw them again in November 1976 at the San Diego Sports Arena.
Last world tour Moon would do.
I feel really fortunate to have seen the original Who in all their glory.
I miss you John.

Oh he did! Case in point - 'Can't Reach You' from Sell Out. Gloriously poppy love song. I'd put 'So Sad About Us' up there too.
