why with the hating?

Man I go to bed at 8pm and I miss a ton of posts and several calls from a rather beautiful lady. :/ I need to go to bed later.

@ Ivan - Grats on the sadowsky man! I see no problem with playing a nice bass at home :) I've always found I'm more inclined to practice if I have nice gear around.

@Vlad - thank you for all your comments, and for sticking up for me there. You seem like an awesome person over all. Do I need a Fodera 6, A fretless Nordy, and my old VJ5 back? Probly not. Do I plan to buy them anyways? Once I can afford them, yes. Because as you said, they're a joy to play. All my basses are above my skill level, but every day I'm improving. I can relate to the people telling you to get a fender thing lol and when I got my first nice bass I had the same problem with my mistakes coming out, but because of that I feel im a better player now

@ muddslide - My thoughts exactly! Nothing wrong with rocking what you like.

@ engine207 - rofl

@ redmagictones - Eww i'd dump them on the spot

@amok - Of course im paranoid! Everyone i know is a backstabber whos out to get me!v:D

@ munji -The same people who rag on my bass said something similar to me when I boroughed a friend Porsche :hiding: But that was one fun car to drive! but I'll keep my civic and buy a fodera given the chance :hyper:

@ arsie - I disagree, I decided to buy a PRS guitar, and I suck at guitar. However I'm far from rich.

@staccato - Love the forum alias :) I agree, most of my friends are pretty cool like that. Some are S*** talkers, and I hang out with them for more business reasons.

@Lindsey - calls a bass a guitar? Thats just wrong!

@ s_mcsleazy - agreed. I heard a story of Mr wooten playing a cheap $50 bass.. Needless to say he rocked it.

@strato - Props, I love hemispheres!

@etech - There is some of that floating around here, yes

@Kwesi - Disney ftw! :smug:

@spade2you - I think its really the perfect bass for that band :hiding:

@bassbenj - lol I should buy some cheap basses and leave em under my bed for 30 years.

Ok, I think thats it. sorry if I missed anyone!

Did not care to read the whole thread, but offer this smart-ass comment:
In the long run, there are only two people in your life that you need to make happy. Yourself, and your future life-partner... and you'll likely fail to please at least one, if not both... If you are willing to work for it, its yours.
signed, twice divorced-and-looking...

fusioud - Your should read it :) its gotten pretty epic in places. And I dissapoint most people most of the time, so i feel where your coming from

Countrybass - Thank you for being awesome. I share your thoughts there. New basses are awesome for everyone :) It makes me happy whenever I get one regardless of if its an sx or a Lakland.

Sorry for the typos, I'm a tad drunk. It was my brothers bday ^_^

Justin Bieber drives a $187,000 Ferrari. I doubt his driving is solid enough to justify a 200 mph car. But he has the means to acquire it so who am I to judge the silly kid?

He just proved that his driving ability doesn't match the car and one reason for anyone to judge him for driving it (as opposed to something more tame) is that he might kill someone by doing something stupid. It's rare that someone with a Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche or other fast car drives like a little old lady on her way to church. They all have to test it and then they either scare the crap out of themselves, or worse.

Maybe I should pick a new major! When I graduate I'm pretty sure big bucks will be no where to be found ;)

I think that's the answer to your OP.

If you have enough equipment to do your job(music school/gigs/etc), you should think about saving all your money so you can start life after college with a good savings.

Even then it can go fast.

What about health insurance, dental work and other health care needs?

Stuff like that.

Maybe that's what the haters are thinking.

Kinda like purchasing a new BMW when you live in a rented room, wear the same clothes, your teeth are yellow, your breath stinks, and you're wearing old glasses and bad shoes. Something wrong with that picture.
