I criticized it for my own reasons which still stand. My critic was based on my own sense of art. It had nothing to do with her motivation.
She actually laid out in detail why she posted it. She asked for constructive criticism. She knew where she was skillwise (even has a sense of humor about it) and wants to get better. The video diary aspect of it makes sense to me.
Showing where she is seems like a good starting point for that critique.
Again, I'm guessing I'm one of the few who actually reads the full descriptions. I've found them to be enlightening.
