Wich TC cab for my RH450?

Hello everybody,
I'm new in this forum and i've read all the post concerning the Tc RH 450 but i don't have seen opinion about the Tc RS410 cab.
Is there any members who's using this cab?
I'm a very happy user of my RH450 head, i'm playing it with an Ampeg SVT 412HED cab but i would like to change the cab for a Tc RS serie but i don't know wich one?
I'm in a Rock Noise band with some kind of Shellac or Jesus Lizard sound.
I need your help for the cab...

I'm sure the tone is great (I love my RS210), but it is a heavy cab and also only comes in 8ohm version. That combination totally takes it off my list as a stand-alone solution for the RH450. If you are looking for a 410 that kills with the RH450, check out the Bergantino AE410... 25 pounds lighter than the RS410, 4ohms, and it kicks like a mule with that head.

Two RH210's would be killer also. If you want 'maximum' low end and volume, the RS210/RS212 stack seems to be the preferred combination. As many have posted, the original spray on finish of these cabs was pretty lame (easily chipped, etc.). A new, shiny and tougher finish is starting to ship. If you decide on an RS cab... make sure you get the new finish. For the next couple of months, you need to be very specific with that, since they are still shipping the old finish.

Not many of these around, given the popularity of the 2 x RS210 modular version that allows more power from the head. You might not get any hits from users on TB.

TBer Tom Bowlus put up a quick review of one of the RS410's a while back, and he was quite positive on it. Send him a PM and he will give you the scoop, at least from his perspective.

I currently have two RS210's and two RS212's on hand, as well as the RS410. If I can find a few minutes to come up for air this week, I'll try to do some A/B/C-ing and report back.

But the RS410 is certainly just as competent within its class as are the RS210 and RS212 - which is to say, it's up in that "different flavors of great" category.

Yes, I have been able to spend some time with the various configurations. Comparing the 2xRS210 stack to the 2xRS212 stack, they are more similar than different, with the major difference being the greater lows to low-mids of the RS212 stack. This causes the relative midrange to sound quite different, but I think much of that is the perceived difference from the added lows. In general, the 2xRS212 is more beefy and punchy sounding, and the 2xRS210 combo is more refined sounding. My favorite was actually the RS210/RS212 mix.

The RS410 has the biggest low end and low-mids of the bunch, which is no surprise. But with the mids and highs being fairly similar to the other two cabs, the overall slant is much more towards the low end response.

I was able to gig out with the whole stack, which is the RH450/RS210/RS410/RS212, and I must say, it was glorious!

Yup, and that is a newer RS210. The other one they sent is is an even lighter gray in color. And yes, the newer finish (as seen on the other two cabs) is much more durable.

Personally I'm using a RS210/RS112 setup. I feel you get a beefier vibe than just the 210, but still save some weight and space. Smaller gigs i've just been using the 112. I've yet to use just the 210 at a gig.

At our gig last weekend I had a chance to A/B the 210 and 112 separately and there's quite a difference between the two cabs alone in my opinion. I could easily get a similar sound out of them separately taht I loved, but it required rolling up some lows on the 210, and rolling out some lows on the 112.

Together they're perfect for my preferred tone with absolutely no tweaking of the RH450 EQ. They're performed great with any of my basses i've ran through them.

Example of live tone at http://www.reverbnation.com/murphyslaw which are live multitrack recordings through a Zoom R16, then mixed in Logic. On a good sound system the low end is heavy on those mixes. Still tweaking. Good example of my preferred tone though.
