so how would i enter my wii's mac adres? and where? in the Link Removed

In the linksys router you should have a series of tabs at the top with hyperlinks below for each tab. Look for the one that says Mac Filtering and see if you dad even has it on. You won't hurt anything by clicking on the tabs just don't change anything yet.
Let me know if it's off or on. If it's on he will have numbers in there like 1AF2ED4CD3

Edit: was MAC filtering already on? If not you just took everything else off the network.

it's currently updating so that should be okay.
EDIT: yeah, it was on already, 3 other mac adresses had already been entered (this pc, my sister's pc and me dad's pc)
