Wilkinson Musicman Pickup Wiring Diagram

So if I understand you correctly, you want to wire it up as two individual coils? If so, you can easily isolate the coils using an ohm meter. You already know that the black is (ground/-) for one coil and that the Yellow is (live/+) for another coil. (this info based on the earlier posts.
So, disconnect the white and red wires. Using the ohm meter, find out which one is connected to the yellow. That will be (ground/-) for that coil. The remaining one will be the (live/+) for the other.

Here's my deal. The two grey wires are from the OLP pickup im replacing with the Wilkinson MM pickup.
I want it wired parallel. What do i do with the red-yellow-black-white wires? It looks easy but I'm not sure. TIA!

The Yellow and Red are the (+) leads, the white and black are (-). Your grey pickup wires have a white (+) wire and a bare/twisted (-). Just put a yellow in one slot, red in the other, and solder the white and black to where the bare wires are attached to the board.
A few years later and I finally yanked out that crap preamp and am now wiring it up passive with one volume and one tone pot!! I got a pre-wired P-Bass setup from Guitar Fetish and the guy said it would work fine with the Wilkinson MM pickup........ now what do I do?? I'm confused once again about what to solder to what for parallel! Thank you for your solid advice and patience with my non tech brain!
I did nothing with it for 4 months! It sat in its case.
I ended up going the other way and bought a different Tone Blaster preamp for it just recently. It's at my tech guys workshop getting hooked up and set up. I'll have it back next week sometime.
Just got it back today and it now sounds like I wanted it to sound! Finally!!
It's a OLP MM 5 string. Not sure of the spacing in regards to a "real" one but it is not tight. I have no problems getting around on it.

Nice to read that, it would be better if you post a video or a audio clip.
I'm asking a lot about this pickup because I want to put the Wilkinson stingray styie pickup in a 5 string jazz bass with a string spacing of 18 mm and I'm worried about the string spacing and the pole spacing.
I hope you can help me.

Ok, but, how do you rate it? is it as good as a Seymour Duncan or at least as a original MM pickup?I don't have that bass anymore!
