Wilkinson Pickups?

I just bought a MM shaped PU for my dean ML bass. it doesn't fit because the Dean has a EMG soapbar shaped PU.....I think I can get the bass routed at my local shop for around $30. Are these pickups any good? Any opinions?

Sorry for the bump, but I couldn't find any reveiws of these PUs and I still wonder if I should go though with the routing, or just get another PU.....thoughts? anyone?

Those pickups are made by Link Removed in China under license. They're all over EvilBay.

I've never tried them, but if they're the same PU's that go into those OLP basses... you're definitely better off using it as a doorstop or something

My advice is to get another PU- one that you know for sure will fit your bass.

Just be sure to measure the Dean's PU cavities (and keep those measurements handy) before buying anything else.

That is the problem. The stock pickup is a weird shape, it's 4" by 1 3/8". I can't find any other PU that fits. Even if I try to go 5 string EMG, these are a bit to wide at 1.5". No matter what , I will have to route, I think.
