Thoughtfulness and civility went out the window awhile back, the raid on toilet paper kind of confirmed that.i'd be more concerned about thoughtfulness and civility dying. if you have more than a month's worth of toilet paper = you know who you are!![]()
All about you, then?yes they took it
my whole life has been shows and festivals
gone because 300 people died
absolute complete bull krap
i thought 800 watt practice amps was the end.
nope it got worse
Thanks for the Zionist conspiracy theories. It's really the day the music "lied"
http://mileswmathis.com/holly.pdf
but many rappers are true folk-like story tellers. I think Kendrick Lamar can be as valid and important as Neil Young at this moment just like any other moment. Even DJs! At some point people wanna dance their worries away, even if it is in their living room. Music heals y’know?
Different styles for different people and as much as you may never get into hip-hop, the Jay-Z fan in her apartment trying to figure out how she’s gonna go through this is not gonna suddenly get into Dylan...
All about you, then?
Why would you assume that.
Im worried about the millions of people forced out of business
people dont get the full picture......yet
and no, its not just about the music or me. its everything and everybody
all and any events in general
Business , Sports, Racing, Music, Theater, Amusement parks, Casinos etc etc
Billions of dollars and millions of jobs instantly eliminated for 300 deaths
all they see is the propaganda on the news
and it seems to fool a majority.
anybody with a case 3 months ago has recovered.
you dont get it, you dont shut down a country for a 3% mortality rate
when nobody gave a krap or ever listened to 35 or 45% mortality rates
The news is reporting what’s going on in Italy (heard of it, have you?) and what the people who actually study pandemics are saying. This virus overwhelms health care systems. That’s not propaganda. Why would you assume that.

Part of the problem exhibit A. Please, for the sake of humankind, educate yourself on the issue at hand because you are sorely and dangerously misinformed (or just dense).yes of course 300 deaths " overwhelmed" the health care system
20,000 deaths did not.
did you read about the " overwhelmed" health care in the states for 20,000
but 4 months and 300 people have overwhelmed us
what about the 250,000 deaths a year from flu.
over the last 20 years have you heard of the health care overwhelmed from 250,000 deaths just in the states
but let me guess 18,000 is " overwhelmed" worldwide.
if 250,000 thousand people died...yes let me repeat died in the states from the flu
that would mean on average 20,000 deaths per month. only in the united states
So im curious why 20,000 deaths in the states was not overwhelming, but 18,000 worldwide is a issue.
or lets be more specific
20,000 deaths no problem
300 huge issue
by the way, yes 3 deaths in our area put millions of people out of their jobs.
keep in mind state wide more people died from drunk driving
Maybe you missed the point that(and I’m not a big fan of it), anyone can push play on a computer, CD player, cassette player, drum machine, whatever, and have a backing track to emote in front of, even if it’s not your idea of ‘emoting’. Holiday Inn lounge/one man bands did it for decades. There has already been acoustic rap...I think you're missing my point. They don't have the skills to connect in an intimate performance the same way just a singer with a piano can. Stipping it down to connect emotionally.
If you bothered to read up on the facts, 20% of the people who get this wind up in ICU on respirators. That's why Italy's health care system is overwhelmed and why the US' may (some people say absolutely will) be soon. Ayes of course 300 deaths " overwhelmed" the health care system
20,000 deaths did not.

Check out the NPR Tiny Desk concerts on YouTube--plenty of hip hop acts have done just that.I think you're missing my point. They don't have the skills to connect in an intimate performance the same way just a singer with a piano can. Stipping it down to connect emotionally.

700+ people died in Italy from this in the past 24 hours, and it hasn't peaked there. And the US is behind them in the cycle.
You keep repeating "300 deaths' as if this virus is done in the US. You cannot be serious. It's been three weeks since the first death. Swine flu lasted a full year. And this thing is progressing geometrically. On March 7th, someone on TB said there are 340 cases , then calculated the chance of getting it vs. the U.S. population. Guess what? It's March 22nd and we have over 26,000 now. A state-by-state breakdown of US coronavirus cases - CNN
Swine flu killed 12,500 in the US, not 20,000.
The flu does not kill 250,000 per year in the U.S. Interesting how you exaggerate the impact of the flu and swine flu but try to minimize the impact of COVID 19.
