Will a .130 gauge string fit through most 4-string bridges?

130 at A# is less tension than a 100 at E, not an issue for the neck.

So 60-80-105-130 in A# is less than 45-65-85-105 in standard?

A 130 wouldn't initially fit thru my T40's bridge (through body stringing only), had to woggle the hole just a tiny bit.

A local guy here plays in b with a fender jazz. Uses a bad ass bridge and "tweaked" the nut. Didnt take much to get it to work nicely. he also swapped the pickups for quarter pounders and replaced the tone/volume pots with a single on/off switch.Tuning a 4 string that low basically turns it into to a meat and potatoes type of bass. Which can work nice if your in a metal band that's dominated by guitars
