Will a Status MM4 neck fit on the SUB Sterlings?

SUB Sterling *SB4* to be exact.

This bass has a neck with 22 frets, but the status has 21.

Rob from sterling said it wouldn't fit, but i think it could.

If the necks both have a 34" scale, shouldn't they fit?

BUT, i suppose it will only if the neck pocket of my bass
( SUB Sterling sb4 ) is the same as a stingray(the status is a stingray replacement neck)

Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone tried? I havnt found any info about this.

Apparently it fits the Sterling ray34s. So the question is, do the ray34s have the same neck pocket as the SUBS? *Particularly the sb4*
