Will I really have to replace the entire battery box?

OK, need some help.

The battery compartment on my Yamaha is shot to pieces. The actual clip which holds the door shut is completely ruined, having taken more than a few knocks.

This wasn't a real problem as the door still held shut with some help from some electrical tape. However now one of the hinges (it's like a little c-shaped clip which fits onto a post) has also broken and the entire door came off completely in my hand.

So my question- given that there is nothing wrong with the actual battery compartment, only the door, am I really going to have to replace the entire compartment? I can't find a single place either instore or online which sells the compartment doors on their own...
