Did they change speakers somewhere along the way?
The ones I've used come in mostly under the guitars and kinda support the band from the bottom, not a cut through the mids approach at all but one hlf with some power behind it can hang in a 2 guitar rock band as long as it's not competing for the low end.
If the guitars are turning up their bass knobs they need to stop doing that, that's your space. If they won't then you have either the more cabs/more power brute force approach or getting a differently voiced cab altogether that can cut through them if you can't get under them.
Bill has a goo point about tilting it back some. All 410's are really directional and a lot more sound is hitting your knees than your ears.
