Will my wiring diagram work?

Bass wiring diagramn-1.jpg

My attempt at a wiring diagram.
The push/push pot is supposed to switch between series/parallel. The 3-way switch is supposed to switch between the neck, both and bridge pickups. I know that the values of the pots are not "ideal" but I hope it will give it an unique sound.
1. My main question is, will this wiring diagram work?

Additional questions:
2. Does it matter how the grounds are connected? Should I connect the ground of the two volume pots and tone knob together with the output jack ground?

3. I've seen some diagrams with a capacitor between the volum and tone pot. What is the reason for it and is it worth having? What does it do?

4. I bought a humbucker with the following wire description:

How do I know which one is North start/finish and south start/finish? Can I assume that they are in the same order as my wiring diagram?

Thanks in advance!
