Will be visiting my sister mid December. She just moved there so she still has to get to know the town and stuff.

There is a chance I might have several hours of solo time, and figure if that happens I might just rent a car and go here and there and check crap out.

So in short, anything worth seeing/going to in that area or even a few hours away from it?

There's a cool music store along the main drag where all the brewpubs and such are. Also a cool store by the waterfront with cool wooden crafts made by disadvantaged kids, bought some really nice pens there that are still my favorites. Unfortunately, it was whirlwind one day visit a year and a half ago and I've forgotten all of the store and street names now. Seemed like a cool town though!
