Does anyone know anything about these? I'm thinking about getting the K1 but I'm worried that being mounted in the bass bar side bridge foot that the D and G string won't be loud enough. How is the K2 mounted? could you put one in each bridge leg? Is the K1 being further from the strings make it less feedback resistant than the standard K4? Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks.

Would you say it was more pronounced than a realist or any other pickup that's on one side of the bridge? I heard a guy playing through a full circle once and it kind of reminded me of a giant precision fretless. I'm using a stat-b right now which sounds fairly acoustic to my ear but find it a bit feedback prone. I've heard the wilson was quite feedback resistant and I play a lot of high volume gigs in hockey arenas and festivals. I also need a new pickup for my eminence and heard it was good for those. Thanks.

i had a realist for 3 years, it was abolutly balanced soundwise.
i use full circles on 2 of my basses, and they sound great imho. all strings at equal volume and not at all like a 2m tall precision... i have no need to look for another pickup since i got the FC.

so i think it depends as usual on the bass/string/player/amp-combination

i think the wilson is good for high volume gigs.
maybe you can find a used one in the classifieds.

In my experience, the Realist is the most acoustic sounding pickup. However, it's not ideal choice for loud situations. For loud gigs I have quite good experience with the generally hated Fishman BP-100: I can go much louder than with the Realist and the sound is NOT going into the direction of fretless electric bass. You just need a 10Mohm preamp AND a massive high middle / treble cut. After that, the result is surprisingly pleasant. Very clear, kind of acoustic sound...
The Planet Wing is another option which doesn't go the "fretless" way (contrary to the Wilson, Underwood, Stat B etc...)
