Wimbish's latest boardly incarnation

Doug is one of the busiest and most creative bass players to ever pick up the instrument. And he's a busy producer as well.And an extremely down to earth person. I've known Doug for years and he is truly a rarity.

Living Colour tours more than most people are aware of. And they just keep going and going and going :)

They were in SF several months ago. They killed. After the show I was at the merch table and the whole effing band came out and went behind the table and started selling their own merch.

I got to talk to each of them. Cory was really nice. All I could say to Vernon was "*Thank* you." I told Doug that he was an influence on me, adding, "I mean, I don't sound anything like you..." and he said, "We all share the same notes." Then they all signed my Living Colour hoodie.

It's amazing that, being rock stars and incredible musicians and all, they still understand how cool it is to do stuff like that.
