In the awning, with a fan and ice water, you're safe. Unless you have an upsettable pre-existing condition (my mom has Lupus, for instance) I can see no reason it would be unsafe.
Sure you can't see a reason... because you're used to the heat.
People can get heatstroke at temperatures well below 90F, even if hydrated.
People can get hypothermia when it's 75F.
