Windex?

Okay, I did a search and came up with no clear and concise answers. Is it okay to use windex? Normally, I use Old English, but I ran out (bass cleaning day, and I have rather a lot to clean).

So, is windex okay to use on:

*body
*fretboard
*lined fingerboards
*pickguards
*chrome
*necks
EDIT: *satin finishes

Any advise is appreciated, thanks in advance guys. I'm 90% sure that it's okay; I just want to be sure. It'd be just my luck to have the stuff ruin my fretless Fender's 'board.

i wouldnt use windex on the fretboard amonia and like chemicals may dry out the wood and cause white crap..for that matter i wouldnt use old english either..its an instrument not a coffee table (well, some guys play coffee tables but thats a whole 'nother can o worms)

cleaning body, chrome, pickguards..plain dry cheesecloth or polishing cloth. shamwows work awesome..lint free rocks , nothing worse than cleaning smudges and ruining it with cloth fuzz and lint

cleaning and maintaining your fretboard a couple of drops of high grade lemon oil will do the trick..i make a quarter sized drop on my cleaning cloth (i have one dedicated to oil) and rub the hell outta the fretboard til its clean and shiny then wipe away any excess.
