Windows working ok for those who use it for recording ?

I had some troubles with Windows 10, I found its audio device support buggy. It was partially a hardware problem (intermittent USB connection), but Windows' response was not very nice (frequent BSODs). Moved to 11 several months ago, it seems much more stable, no problems recording that I've noticed yet, though it is still a bit "twitchy" and gets confused when audio devices are added / removed dynamically. But way better than it used to be.

Well, as the OP on this thread, I thought I'd come back to say that I moved to Mac (M1 Macbook Air 16gb ram, 1tb ssd) about 3 months ago and all is going pretty well. Stuff that is not going so well is mostly me getting used to Mac stuff (for example, I really hate Finder!). But the audio side of things is going well using Logic Pro, Reaper and Ableton with a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 v3 as the interface.

2 things moved me in this direction.
First, MS pushed a Win 11 update that really started making my audio randomly glitch and I just got tired of cleaning stuff like that up
Second, my SiL gave me the Macbook Air from his company update spares, so I gave it a try and have been (mostly) happy since the change over.

anyway, good luck to all on whatever system you are using to do tracking!
