Interesting. I do like skin.Wings are about the skin, not the meat. If I wanted a lot of chicken meat I'd eat a chicken breast. If I want a lot of chicken flavor than I eat the wings, or the thighs.
Still not worth it.

I thought this would be about the sitcom from the 90's, which I enjoyed.
I am disappointed.

I'll take either, I like that the drums tend to have a bit more meat on them, but I kinda like the process of eating the flats.
Also, a place I used to work at used to smoke them and then fried then just to heat them up and get them crispy. Best dang wings I've ever had - and it wasn't just me, they won local awards. Can't say I've seen another place do them the same way, but I'm sure it's not unique.
A lot of places offer drum only wing orders for extra money. I'd pay for just flats.“Flats” by a lonshot. Too much gristle in the drum and not as tender, often overcooked. I eat them but if there was a “no drum” option, I’d go for that. The flat could be overcooked to the point of being jerky, and I’d still find it delicious.
