Another very nice build! I envy your shop time, the more I do this, the more I like it. The combination of technical precision and artistic expression has hooked me hard, tough to follow your lead! Thanks! Probably not in time for the contest submission. I have band practice on Thursday and I put off practicing to get this build done. I really have to focus on learning these new songs. Who knew Country music was hard? Once things settle down, I'll put together a sound clip.

Part of the problem is that a lot of the songs sound similar with similar bass parts, but have different breaks and stops. Keeping that all straight in my head is a challenge. I'm also doing a lot of the backing vocals, so learning all the harmonies at the same time is time consuming.

I had the same troubles when I filled in for a couple pop-punk groups. C-G-A-F all day.

I literally laughed out loud reading this.

It's gig-able, but still needs some work. I need to either lower this nut or make a new one. I just grabbed a nut from my stock when assembling this, but that definitely needs more attention. Also a little more setup work. Action needs to be lowered a tad, and probably need to tweak the truss rod. Sounds great though

Actually no, I ended up swapping it out. There was a dip in output on the A string. I'll go into more detail once the voting is over.
