41F here, pretty dang cold for these parts. Humidity is up too, so it cuts...

Came home to find this. It wasn't windy when I left for work.

Flipped it over and all was good.

The 400 watt metal halide lamp even survived getting tossed around the yard. Pretty sure the weight of the fixture was the only thing that kept the canopy from blowing away. Guess that's why they call the 15 pound transformers for metal halides ballasts. Lol

If it wasn't windy when you left, but became windy later on, then it was the perfect cover for your neighbors to flip it over and smash that 400w halide cuz it lights up the cloud cover every night

No the lamp survived.
If my neighbors do complain about 400 watts they might soon find 1200 watts lightning the sky since I have two more that I am not using...yet.

Hey GeraldMcG, I have read all the posts here on your little project and love the idea ... I'm retired and on disability, but I was a photographer and cartoonist before all that... So I thought you needed a logo for your Schnitzelblaster ,, have fun with it ,,, or delete it
