Winter Build Off 2019- Guyadanelectrotone LG-200B

I did get some more witch hat knobs.

Not necessarily. My Teisco SS4L had 4 gold foils had an on/off rocker switch for each pickup, a rythym/lead rocker for each sets of 2, and an overall tone and volume wheel. If it was a bass, you would only need just the on/off switches and a VT knob setup.
I may have had my tongue thoroughly planted in my cheek.

No blend? Heresy!

The rough outline. So glad there's no missing bits.
Broke out my old cheap Delta bandsaw. It's in need of some attention. I have new wheel rubbers, bearings, and guide blocks but haven't put them on yet. Should be good enough for a rough cut.

Even in less than optimal condition a cheap little bandsaw like this can cut pretty good with a good blade and a good set up.

Digging through parts boxes to see what I have for this bass.

Looks like I have five lipstick pickups but I am going to stick with four.

There will of course be lots of switches maybe not seven probably five.

There will be an acoustic preamp that I had already hacked for another project then that project went in a different direction.

And this beast of a bridge. Not only will the weight help with the balance but it has piezo pickups in the saddles which is why I need the preamp.

What are your plans for the headstock? Could you plug the holes you've already got and shape it like the classic Dano?

I thought about going full-Dano on the head but the factory finish on the neck is in pretty good shape so I really don't want to get into plugging and reshaping.
Here is the head of the neck.

I wasn't crazy about the shape when I first got it but it was a super cheap GFS Buyout special so I didn't really care.
But for this build it really fits the shape of the body. Even the same sort of swooping angle at the top.
Here is the Guyatone head.

So the factory headstock even picks up the style of the LG-200t headstock but for a 2+2 bass head.
