Winter Build Off 2020 - Air Space

I saw for the next build-off it should be a requirement to explain where the name came from. I see all these builds and some of them I wonder how they came up with the name. Explain yourselves!!!! :eyebrow: :roflmao:

I think I need to re-name mine, "Skeleton-P" is not technically a Skeleton design. I just thought it was a fun play on "Skeleton key"

Yours, the "Un-Named" one from @BishopJP and the 4000JP from @ctmullins were the ones I thought "okay, I get it". Some of them I kinda went "Okaaaaaayyyyyyy.........." :roflmao:

Mostly I'm a dork and want to know details like this. :woot:

Well the K-Space is from the shape being based on the Hammersmith Model K, combined with the Space from the contest's name. <Warning Geekery follows> K Space also is an extension of the concept of Fourier space well known in MR imaging. The k-space represents the spatial frequency information in two or three dimensions of an object. The k-space is defined by the space covered by the phase and frequency encoding data.

My first build is made out of locust wood and mostly leftover (or robbed) parts, thus "Leftovers and Locust."
(Thinking I need a better final name, but I have a few weeks. "L&L" will do for now.)

The second is called "F1" because it's my first fretless build in this style. It was based off of a shape called "P2" because it was my second project. Though the technicality here is I titled a bass "P3" because it was the 3rd bass I made, still based in the second shape template for the body. But it does have a tilted headstock, so that could put this into the realm of P3, making it the P3-F1 project. That seems a little convoluted though.

I would have called them "Precision" and "Jazz" but apparently, those names were already spoken for. o_O
