Winter Build Off 2020 - Air Space

OK, now that we are all getting (or have been) giggity, and we have just a little over 2 week to voting, I'd like to discuss the next build off that could immediately follow this one.

Theme of the project would be "Finish that stalled project", or something like that.

Any interest?

No stalled projects, unless my deck in the back yard counts

Could the build to come have a "button it up" theme? It could include finishing the unfinished, making cases, and mods you want to do to existing basses. It might be cool to give the ability to mod basses you didn't build too. The ole "I always want to drop a MM pickup and pre into my squier P" concept? :D Modifying instruments is still luthiery right?

We could all build BYOC pedals...

DIY Guitar Effects Pedal and Amplifier Kits

That would definitely push me out of my comfort zone!

Already built 7 kits (I would recomend madbeanpedals.com over BYOC), reboxed into rack mount enclosures, modified for relay on/off triggering, and setup a remote box to trigger them from.

All so I wouldn't have to bend over to tweek the settings.

What do I win.

So it looks like there is some interest.

I'd like to target unfinished projects as a theme. Maybe that's a better way to say it

I don't think I want to go as far as putting this in the newsletter.
I also dont think I'd like to open the voting to all of TB, just keep it here in the LC
I ask these 2 things because I don't want to water down the WBO.

The WBO is kinda special, and I'd like to keep it that way. Some really great builds, ingenuity, and craftsmanship
Too much exposure could make the WBO's mundane.

Thoughts?

Nice work! Yeah Madbean and Pedalpcb are my preferred pcb sites.

What would count as unfinished projects? I think the closest thing I have that qualifies is the leftovers from the 5 string I started nearly 20 years ago - I converted the neckthrough body into my son's headless 4 last year, but I have everything else from that "unfinished" project (pickups, tuners, bridge, fretboard) which I've been meaning to built myself a 5 string out of. Would that count?
