This is what I found recommended on t'interwebs for sealing fabric prior to using resin. Goes on white but dries clear. My fresh epoxy should come tomorrow hopefully.

I put two coats on today and it didn't darken it barely at all, so looks promising.I guess I was trying to say that the fabric, at least with the finishes I’ve
I remember the Mod Podge I tried darkening the fabric but I also remember it having a yellow label so it was probably a different product. I hope you find a good combination.
Like my last couple of builds this one will be mostly done in my lunch breaks at work, as I don't have a work space at home (plus we have a load of industrial woodworking machines at work!). So it will mostly be only 20-30 minute bursts a day.
I got the body blank out the clamps and cleaned it up through the planer. Then I roughed out the body shape on the bandsaw ready to stick the fabric on.

I've just realised that if I want a forearm cut I'll need to do that first, but I'm out of time today so that will be next week now. If anyone is able to give me rough dimensions of the forearm cut on a Stingray that would be really helpful.
