Winter NAMM 2011 rumour mill!

From the Eden website...

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

We’ve managed to distill the essence of Eden tone into this handy little direct box/preamp. Eden fans have been requesting this for quite a while and we've listened. Much more than a direct box, the WTDI is like bringing a little Eden preamp to every stage and studio gig. Always have one handy in your gigbag, case or pedal board. Use it to Edenize that junk box of an amp they gave you for backline at the gig by going direct into the power amp section. Use it to add a 2nd, 3rd or solo/boost channel to your current rig. Also works extremely well with acoustic guitars & basses.

This rugged little pedal features true bypass and both ¼" and XLR (with ground lift) outputs. Besides 3 bands of tone control with bass boost and mid shift switches, volume & gain, we’ve added variable compression and our legendary enhance control. All this comes in a box no more than 2" high x 4¾" wide and 3½" deep. Comes complete with universal power adapter and runs on most 12-18 volt capable pedal boards & power cubes.

Retail: $224.99

**edit** I must be a bit late on this one, because they're already available only for $150-$200, and there's one in the TB classifieds (sold).

This deserves a post in this thread as well!

I REALLY didn't need to see this! I love that company.

Get psyched.

Finally! They have fixed both my gripes as a bassist. One, it oscillated way to quickly and it was hard to get washed out delay sounds without feedback. Second, the tone knob! Analog delay can get a bit lost on the bass, this helps. I remedied this issue with an EQD Disaster Transport, which I absolutely love. But the modulation on the malekko was unlike anything I've heard before, and still. With even more features on the modulation, that alone is worth the effect. And 1 second on delay time, oh no.:bassist:

Anyone hear of the new yamaha basses? They're releasing the new BB1024/5x and the BB424/5x. Plus, if you don't like the look of the pickguard/control plate look (which I totally dig), there are the BB1024/5's and the BB424/5's. I'm excited! I just can't wait to see the street prices.

I just spent 5 days at NAMM and the only surefire wallet hole for me is that Malekko 919.

Holy balls it rules.

Yeah...ditto. I'm actually going to pick up that new Bit Crusher of theirs, too. It tracks fantastically on bass. I'm also doomed because Paul told me that they have some germanium transistors now that are as powerful as the silicon. Germ + insane gain = pure win!!

The most impressive piece to me at NAMM was the Basswitch. It includes:

A/B switcher
two channel one dry/one EQ input
Double para metric mid high end studio EQ section
Two effects loops one straight/one mixable (dry/effects)
Controllable level clean boost
Lehle sound DI with ground switch/pre/post/attenuation pad
Tuner out
Mute switch
