Winter NAMM 2017 (ultra Pic-heavy)

Did Mayonnaise have a Pilichowski signature slap machine bass on the floor? The blue one in the pic has a similar look but I think it's something different.

The real deal should have nearly a Ric body shape and fret markers like the one below. Been wanting to try thumping on one of those but surely can't at the local GC's.

Thanks a lot for doing this dude!

This Moollon 5-string Precision with the dual-coil pickup caught my attention.

And a Berg NV212?!?! Say whaaaaat?
The guy I spoke to about the NV212 said that is sounded great paired with a 15". I told him that some people would call that blasphemy. He said those people were wrong. Then he called the owner over, and Mr. B agreed...blasphemy! LOL

Amazing thread! Thanks for doing this. It's interesting how many makers I've never even heard of (the front end of the thread, mostly). There's certainly some really cool stuff out there, and (to my eye, at least) a lot of rather hideous stuff, and some stuff that's both. Regardless, it's all fun to see!

A lot of the stuff at the beginning of the pics was likely from "downstairs", which is a mix of fairly small/obscure companies along with a huge corral of Chinese/Korean/Indonesian brands/companies with various knock-offs and oddities.
Hey, how did your gig go?

Ooo man, it's been an action packed day so far! I've got a good number of pics for you guys that I'll upload once I get back, along with some commentary on some of the basses that really caught my ear this year.

I'm taking a quick beer break at the moment, then I'll make my way over to a Billy Sheehan signing at 4. For now, I'll leave you with a pic of the official beer of Talkbass in the attachments, courtesy of Stone Brewing. And yes, it really is delicious

I didn't see a Mayones Custom Signature Pi4 3 Slap Machine in any of the photo's at the Mayones booth but what I did notice, they seemed to have the most "Sold" tags posted on their basses than any of the other builders booth pics!?
I tried to buy some of Dingwall's NAMM basses and they were all sold.
